LEGO has made the Death Star more than a dozen ways since 2002: three huge Ultimate Collector Series playsets, the 2005 Death Star II model, small promotional builds and a run of scenes from inside the station, from the trash compactor to the Emperor’s throne room. Here is every one, 18 sets in all, with pieces, minifigures, prices, what the retired ones sell for now and which one is the biggest.

Which LEGO Death Star is the biggest?
75419, by a long way. Its 9,023 pieces are more than twice the 4,016 of 75159, it measures 79 cm across, and it’s the biggest LEGO Star Wars set ever made. It’s also the most expensive Death Star at $999.99.
Is the LEGO Death Star discontinued?
The older ones are. 10188 left shops at the end of 2010 and 75159 at the end of 2020, so for those you’re buying second-hand. The current Death Star, 75419, is still on sale at LEGO.com and Amazon in the US, and no retirement date has been announced.
