All Star Wars fans know the happiest place on earth isn’t just Disneyland, it’s Galaxy’s Edge in any of the Disney Parks. In Galaxy’s Edge not only can you experience the world of Star Wars and meet some of its characters, but you can also buy Legacy Lightsabers.
These lightsabers are only sold at Disneyland or Disney World in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities found in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. At times, they can also be found online at shopdisney.com. They were first released in 2019 with more being released each year after.
Each one is created to replicate the most iconic lightsabers in the movies and shows. They are high-quality, great collector’s items. Specific lightsabers come in collectible, limited edition, and standard sets. You can choose from famous and infamous Jedi and Sith sabers.
In this article, I will be discussing each of the Legacy Lightsabers (Which are different from Hasbro’s Black Series Lightsabers). I will go over where they can be bought, their special features, and whose lightsabers they are.

Standard Legacy Lightsaber Sets
Each standard set comes with just the lightsaber hilt in a display box. You can buy blades, stands, belt clips, and any other accessory you desire as add-ons. The hilt itself doesn’t make any sounds unless connected to a blade. They are perfect for display.
Remember, these are licensed products, but other custom lightsabers are available from specialist companies.
Count Dooku – Tales of the Jedi Legacy Lightsaber (2022)
This lightsaber is based on Count Dookus appearance in the animated mini-series Tales of the Jedi. Still featuring the classic curved hilt, when lit this lightsaber will be blue. Tales of the Jedi is set before Count Dooku turns to the dark side and therefore sees him as a member of the Jedi Council.
Qui-Gon Jinn Legacy Lightsaber (2022)
Qui-Gon’s famous saber has a black hilt with silver accents. It contains a red activation button in the middle. Just as in The Phantom Menace it has deep grooves where the user can hold onto it.
Cal Kestis Legacy Lightsaber (2022)
Just as in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game, this rendition of Cal Kestis’s lightsaber has broken detailing on the end. The saber has a silver top and dark grey lower half.
It also comes with a coupler to use if you get two of the same hilts. This allows you to form them into a saberstaff as seen in the video game.
Plo Koon Legacy Lightsaber (2022)
The opposite of Qui-Gon’s lightsaber, Plo Koon’s is silver with black accents. The top of the hilt contains stacked rings. A black and red button is on the lower half of the saber.
This specific version of Plo Koon’s saber is fashioned after The Clone Wars era design. Minus a few minor differences, his saber, and Luminara’s Legacy saber appear very similar.
Maul Shadow Legacy Lightsaber (2022)
Maul’s Shadow Lightsaber was designed after his that he uses in Clone Wars Season 7. It is the only lightsaber that has a crystal chamber that is seen and not hidden. This saber can be connected by a coupler to The Phantom Menace Darth Maul saber. This allows the recreation of his double-bladed saberstaff.
Maul’s Shadowsaber is light weighted than the other Legacy Lightsabers. Its coloring is silver and grey.
Darth Sidious Legacy Lightsaber (2022)
The infamous silver hilt with gold accents and a sliding oval activation switch makes up Darth Sidious’ Legacy Lightsaber. Surprisingly, his lightsaber isn’t seen much throughout the movies. This Legacy Lightsaber is the first rechargeable one with a USB cord.
Halcyon Starcruiser Training Legacy Lightsaber (2022)
This saber is also known as the Galactic Starcruiser lightsaber. It is two-toned–silver and black. Each of these Halcyon Starcruiser Training Legacy Lightsabers can be customized with your choice of any letter in Aurebesh. The letter of your choice is placed above the red activation switch.

Leia Organa Legacy Lightsaber (2021)
Leia’s lightsaber hilt is gold and silver. It has a thick ribbed bottom. The top thins out, still gold with silver accents. The emitter matrix is silver and ribbed. This specific Legacy Lightsaber is based on her saber seen in The Rise of Skywalker.
Darksaber Legacy Lightsaber (2021)
The black-finished lightsaber has an angled handguard. It looks more like a katana than other sabers. Due to its flat blade, it needs a specialized stand that doesn’t work with the other Legacy Lightsabers. Not only does this hilt differ from other sabers, but the blade, if purchased, does as well.
Rey Lightsaber The Rise of Skywalker (2021)
Rey’s lightsaber from The Rise of Skywalker is the only Legacy Lightsaber with a yellow blade. Her hilt was forged from salvaged materials. As such, it is heavier than others and designed to be more resistant to everyday wear and tear. Check out our lightsaber color meanings post to find out more about yellow lightsabers.
With a design similar to her staff, it has a silver rounded top and bottom. The handgrip has tan and brown padding like her staff as well.
Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsabers (2020)
Just as Ahsoka wields two lightsabers, this Legacy set comes with two. One is smaller. Each can illuminate green or blue. These sabers are designed after the ones she uses in Star Wars The Clone Wars. They match the straight, silver look with black accents shown in the show.
Count Dooku Legacy Lightsaber (2020)
Count Dooku’s saber differs from many with his curved hilt. It is chrome with black accents on the handgrip. Just as in the movies, this Legacy Lightsaber has a clawed emitter guard.
Asajj Ventress Legacy Lightsaber Star Wars Clone Wars (2019)
This version of Asajj’s saber is based on her sabers with curved hilts. The emitter has a claw coming out of the hilt and a red activation switch. The handgrip has thick dark grey and silver stripes. She is seen using this specific design of saber while she is training as an assassin under Count Dooku.
Reforged Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber (2019)
Based on Anakin’s lightsaber reforged by Rey, it contains a silver handgrip with black handgrip attachments. The top is completely silver. This saber is based on the one used by Rey, Finn, Luke, and Anakin.
Luke Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Return of the Jedi (2019)
Similar in style to Anakin’s lightsaber, Luke’s is slightly thinner. It has a silver top with black ribbing right below it. The top is gold coated and has a silver handgrip blade shroud emitter. This hilt emits a green light, like the blade of his saber in Return of the Jedi.
Ben Solo Legacy Lightsaber (2019)
This saber is based on the one used by Ben Solo while he was training with Luke. The entirety of the hilt is silver. The stabilizing ring is a unique purple and brown. The handgrip is bright red.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Legacy Lightsaber The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones (2019)
This is one of the few designs that is retired. Although no longer created it is still a popular one amongst Star Wars fans. Based on Obi-Wan’s lightsaber in the first two movies is silver with a black handgrip with silver accents. The power insulator is black with silver edging sticking out.
Darth Maul Legacy Lightsaber The Phantom Menace (2019)

Mace Windu Legacy Lightsaber (2019)
Primarily black, Mace Windu’s hilt contains golden accents. Aside from the darker hilt, Windu’s blade if you choose to buy it along with the hilt is purple.
Jedi Temple Guard Legacy Lightsaber Rebels (2019)
These Jedi Temple Guard lightsabers resemble those seen in Rebels. The hilt is very unique in design compared to other ones. Instead of the typical grey, silver, or black, it is off-white. The off-white is accented with gold and silver patterns.
Kylo Ren Legacy Lightsaber (2019)
Kylo’s hilt is completely black. It has a crossguard, making it stand out from other hilts. Additionally, the ends of the crossguard are silver. This hilt has a red handgrip attachment as well.
Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsabers Rebels (2019)
Just as the other Ahsoka-style lightsabers available, this set comes with two. One of them being smaller than the other. Instead of being styled after the ones she wields in Clone Wars, these are designed after her pair in Rebels.
