Star Wars The Black Series Luke Skywalker Force FX Elite Lightsaber
Luke Skywalker, the farm boy, turned Jedi Knight’s green lightsaber is part of the Black Series Force FX Lightsabers. Based on his saber from Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett, this one follows the look exactly.
With the silver, black, and bronze hilt and green blade, it is the perfect choice for Cosplay. The hilt contains a button that activates sound effects.
These effects include ignition, clashing, wall-cutting, blaster deflection, dueling, and battle sequence sounds. You can also choose different modes to use the lightsaber in, whether you are dueling or battling.
Like all Black Series FX Lightsabers, this one can be used for costume or display. The blade is removable as well.
Star Wars The Black Series Darth Vader Force FX Elite Lightsaber
Hasbro has released multiple versions of Darth Vader’s lightsaber. The most recent version is one of their Elite sabers. It is based on his saber seen in the Kenobi series.
It includes a deep red blade and Vader’s classic black and silver hilt. On the hilt is a button allowing you to hear the ignition, battle, and dueling sounds.

Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX Elite Lightsaber (Obi-Wan Series)
The famous negotiator has a variety of versions of lightsabers available. This specific version is styled after his in the Kenobi series, just like the aforementioned Darth Vader one.
With a bright blue blade and his bronze-topped hilt with intricate black and silver designs on the bottom half, it resembles it perfectly.

Black Series Leia Organa Lightsaber
Newly added to the Star Wars universe, and the Black Series is Leia Organa’s lightsaber. Her blue saber features the bronze hilt as seen in the newest trilogy.
It also comes with a switch on the hilt to activate different sounds. The sounds include blaster deflection, ignition, and the molten blade effect.
Black Series Rey Skywalker Force FX Elite Lightsaber
Although Rey uses a variety of weapons and lightsabers, this one is designed after the yellow one she receives at the end of Rise of Skywalker.
Even though you buy this weapon brand new, it still includes the worn look on the hilt. You can easily tell that it is built from salvaged parts of her quarterstaff with a cloth handgrip as shown in the movie.
It is the only lightsaber in this series that includes a yellow blade. Just like the other lightsabers in the collection, the blade can be removed.
Black Series Ahsoka Tano Force FX Elite Lightsaber
First introduced in The Clone Wars and most recently seen in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka has had a variety of lightsabers from her time as a Jedi and her time after. She has carried one and two lightsabers, from colors ranging from white to green to blue.
This lightsaber blade emits two of those colors: blue and green. Additionally, if you want to have two lightsabers as she had, you can always purchase two of hers from this collection.
Another special feature of her lightsaber is the removable Kyber crystal for display. As always you can remove the blade as well if desired.
Black Series Emperor Palpatine Force FX Elite Lightsaber
Known for his unique dueling style, Emperor Palpatine’s lightsaber is also unique. His silver and bronze hilt emits a red blade, mirroring his bled Kyber crystal included within.
This lightsaber is specifically designed after his appearance in Revenge of the Sith. It includes a special lightning effect that the other sabers do not.
Darth Revan Black Series Lightsaber
Known for his heroic beginnings and villainous end, Darth Revan is a Legends fan favorite. His Black Series Lightsaber emits a purple or red blade.
Just like the Ahsoka lightsaber, his Kyber crystal can be removed for display. With blaster deflection and wall-slicing effects, the sounds make you feel as though you have embodied his character as well.
One thing to remember about this version of the saber is that the crystal and blade can’t be in the lightsaber hilt at the same time. Even though they can’t be in it together, it does allow for the display of each at the same time.
Black Series Asajj Ventress Lightsaber
Asajj Ventress has a very unique hilt because it is curved, while the majority of hilts are straight. Her blade glows a slightly brighter red than the other Sith sabers in this collection.
As she was often seen wielding two of these lightsabers, to make your experience more authentic, you can buy two of them. Her lightsaber makes the power up and power down sounds when you turn it on or off.
Black Series Kit Fisto Force FX Lightsaber
Kit Fisto’s lightsaber was known for being one of the few that could work underwater as well as above ground. His simple silver hilt emits a green blade, just as seen in the movies.
It follows the design of his lightsaber seen in Attack of the Clones. When turned on, it hums and makes the typical lightsaber ignition sounds.
Black Series Count Dooku Black Series Force FX Lightsaber
Just like Ventress, Dooku’s hilt is curved as well. Although his hilt is of a slightly different style. The blade glows a similar bright red.
This lightsaber is known for being a little heavier to wield than the other ones in the series.
Black Series Supreme Leader Kylo Ren Force FX Elite Lightsaber
Kylo Ren’s lightsaber hilt follows the style of many medieval swords. With a cross hilt and two small blades emitting from the sides, the replica looks just like the one seen in the movie.

This is a great choice if you are looking for a lighter lightsaber to hold. It includes sound effects and a bright blade. Additionally, this Force FX lightsaber comes with a clear stand for easy display.
Black Series Darth Maul Force FX Lightsaber (The Phantom Menace)
Another iconic lightsaber is Darth Maul’s. Double-bladed and deadly, this replica is double-bladed as well. Since the blades are removable, you can choose to use them with one or two blades showing.
To allow for it to be double-bladed, the hilt of this lightsaber is longer than the other lightsabers in the Black Series. It is also weighted heavier towards the blade end of the saber. When lit, it glows a crimson red.

Black Series First Order Riot Trooper Baton Force FX (NON-LIGHTSABER)
Although not a lightsaber, the First Order Riot Trooper Baton is still a part of the Black Series FX Lightsabers collection. It was used by one of the troopers to fight Finn. This version is the exact size as seen in the movie.
This baton includes sounds and light effects. In addition to these, it also includes a vibrating motor to give you the feel of the weapon. The baton includes self-releasing flip-out prongs to give you the full, realistic effect.
Black Series Rey (Jedi Training) Force FX Lightsaber
Different from her yellow lightsaber, is Rey’s Jedi training saber she used in The Last Jedi. Instead of glowing bright yellow, this one is a deeper blue.
It has a softer hilt, making it more comfortable to wield. The hilt also comes with stickers on it. This is one of the few sabers that is more meant for display than use, although it can be used for light dueling.
Black Series Kylo Ren Force FX Lightsaber
Not to be confused with the Elite Version, there is another Kylo Ren saber in this series. The hilt is much heavier and includes crackling and sinister sound effects. This version includes an unstable plasma effect, mimicking it from the movies.
This one also doesn’t include as many features as the other version. The hilt is not as detailed and slightly thinner than the elite version. It does come with a stand for display as well.
Black Series Luke Skywalker Force FX Lightsaber (Return of the Jedi)
In Episode VI, Luke started wielding a green lightsaber, and this replica is based on that particular weapon. It resembles the original prop used in filming and is made of high-quality materials.
The metal hilt is very detailed and the sounds and effects are convincing. Unlike some lightsabers we talked about, this one is lighter comparatively, so small children can expect to hold this easier.
With a well-balanced hilt, wielding it is easy and comfortable. One drawback is that the switch is a bit too fragile. Regardless, this is a solid addition to your collection and great for cosplay. Ignite the green!
Black Series Darth Vader Force FX Lightsaber
Not to be confused with the Elite version, Darth Vader has another option of the Black Series saber. This one is thicker than the other version and harder to spin.
It still includes the silver and black hilt with a bright red blade. Similar to the two versions of the Kylo Ren saber, the Darth Vader ones differ mainly in the detail of the design. Both are great options!
Black Series Yoda Force FX Lightsaber
Due to Yoda’s small size, his lightsaber was smaller in the movies. It is also smaller with this replica. Even though it is shorter than the other lightsabers, it still has the same quality.
With a bright green blade and a short black and silver hilt, it looks just like Yoda’s from the movie. It should only be used for display, not for dueling.
Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Force FX Lightsaber (A New Hope)
Obi-Wan’s A New Hope lightsaber has one of the brightest blades. Glowing a very bright blue, it matches the saber he wields when he calls himself Ben.
This lightsaber not only comes with a stand but movie sound effects as well. Just like the other sabers you can ignite, power off, and simulate the battle with the sounds it makes.
Black Series Luke Skywalker Force FX Lightsaber (A New Hope)
Before creating a green lightsaber, Luke owned a blue one. This is a favorite collector’s item, as many choose to buy it for display. The blue blade matches the shade shown in the movie perfectly.
The blade can easily come off for display of just the hilt. Additionally, you can choose to display the Kyber crystal in or outside of the lightsaber.
Black Series Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber
A surprise introduction in The Mandalorian, Clone Wars, and Rebels, the Darksaber is the only lightsaber wielded by someone other than the Jedi and Sith.
With its sinister black blade, this saber includes power-up, power-down, and motion-sensor humming and battle clash sounds.
Although black, this saber glows white on the edges. The hilt is also much thicker than the hilt on other lightsabers. There are a variety of Mandalorian helmet options available in the Black Series Helmets as well if you are looking to match your saber with a Mandalorian.
How to Display a Force FX Lightsaber
Many people choose to display their Force FX Lightsaber mounted to a wall, which almost doubles as a mood light. They really do look fantastic displayed this way, the only decision you need to make is which wall mount to choose.
Do you go horizontal or vertical? To display vertically you will need a special wall mount which includes a clip for the pole and a cup-like base to hold the lightsaber hilt. There are many available on the market, but I recommend one that has a clear base.
Or, you could go for a horizontal wall mounted stand which comprises of 2 clear stands, one or the pole and one for the hilt. An awesome way to display your FX Lightsaber!
Can you fight with a Force FX Lightsaber?
Even though it would be insanely cool if you could actually duel with Force FX Lightsabers, unfortunately this isn’t possible.
Although these lightsabers are designed to be gently tapped, so that they produce the sound effect off two lightsabers crashing together, they are not able to take any type of force without breaking. The last thing you want is for the tube to crack, or worse some of the LED’s to be damaged.
Force FX Lightsabers are designed for either display or for Cosplay. So, no, you cannot fight with a Force FX Lightsaber. (Sad face)
