Hey guys,
We have just heard the awesome news that new Disney Streaming service ‘Disney+’ will be airing a new live action TV show featuring Cassian Andor from Rogue One: A Star War Story. The news comes hot on the heels of The Mandalorian revealed last month. Diego Luna will be reprising the role and begins filming in 2019. The show will centre around the early years of the Rebellion and will be prior to events in Rogue One.
This is fantastic news and opens up all sorts of possibilities. We could see how Cassian met K2-SO (although this was featured in a one shot marvel comic). We could see more General Merrick from Blue Squadron, or perhaps even members of the crew from the animated series Rebels. If you remember, Hera Syndulla is mentioned in the base at Yavin and we also see a glimpse of the Ghost in the battle of Scarif.
I for one am looking forward to this show!
