LEGO has made Jabba’s sail barge, the Khetanna from Return of the Jedi, three times: in 2006, in 2013 and as a huge Ultimate Collector Series set in 2024. Here is every one, plus the two mini sail barges from LEGO Star Wars advent calendars, with pieces, minifigures, prices, what each one sells for now and which is the biggest.

75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge (2024)
The Ultimate Collector Series sail barge came out in October 2024, as one of the sets marking 25 years of LEGO Star Wars. At over 30.5 inches (77 cm) long it’s big enough to work with minifigures, and it’s the only LEGO sail barge with a cockpit. It was designed by César Soares, who also designed the UCS Razor Crest.
- Pieces: 3,943 · Minifigures: 11 · US price: $499.99 · Ages: 18+
- Minifigures: Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2 with a drinks tray, Bib Fortuna, Max Rebo, Salacious B. Crumb, a Gamorrean Guard, and three of Jabba’s guards: Kithaba, Vizam and Wooof
What’s inside:
- Fabric sails you can angle, and a deck cannon with room for Leia to stand at it.
- Sides that fold down in three sections, and deck panels that lift off, to reach the interior.
- A cockpit with a sliding door, a prison cell and an armory at the front.
- A kitchen, then Jabba’s throne with Max Rebo’s organ beside it at the back.
- Display stands under the hull, and a separate base for the minifigures with the information plaque and a LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary brick.
Is it retiring? Yes. LEGO.com marks it as retiring soon, Brickset lists it as leaving at the end of 2026, and on 18 October 2026 it was sold out at LEGO.com in the US. Once it’s gone from LEGO, you’ll be buying second-hand. A third-party seller on Amazon was asking $730.
What it sells for: new ones sold for an average of $471 on BrickLink in the six months to October 2026, and new ones are listed there from about $450.
It’s also on my lists of every LEGO Star Wars UCS set and the biggest LEGO Star Wars sets.
75020 Jabba’s Sail Barge (2013)
The second LEGO sail barge came out in June 2013 and was on sale until the end of 2014. It has more pieces than the 2006 set but is actually a smaller model, and unlike the 2006 set it doesn’t come with a skiff. It introduced two characters to LEGO: Max Rebo and Ree-Yees.
- Pieces: 850 · Minifigures: 6 · US price: $119.99 · Ages: 9 to 14
- Minifigures: Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia, R2-D2 with a drinks tray, Max Rebo, Ree-Yees and a Weequay skiff guard
What’s inside:
- A hidden cannon in the nose, fired by pulling a knob at the back of it.
- A jail cell, a kitchen and Jabba’s lounge, with shutters along each side that open.
- Max Rebo’s instrument at the back, which swivels on its base.
- Two plastic sails, a deck gun with two flick-fire missiles and a railing gun on the raised rear deck, which lifts off.
- Wheels underneath, so it rolls along.
What it sells for: new ones averaged $341 on BrickLink in the six months to October 2026, and used ones $192.
6210 Jabba’s Sail Barge (2006)
The first LEGO sail barge came out in June 2006 and was on sale until the end of 2007. It’s the only one that comes with the rest of the scene: a desert skiff with a plank for Luke, and the Sarlacc pit. It was designed by Bjarke Lykke Madsen.
- Pieces: 781 · Minifigures: 8 · US price: $74.99 · Ages: 8 to 12
- Minifigures: Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian in his skiff guard disguise, Boba Fett, a Gamorrean Guard and R2-D2 with a serving tray
What’s inside:
- Sides that open in two sections to reach the interior.
- A deck gun, and a catapult on top for launching Boba Fett.
- The skiff and the Sarlacc pit, built separately.
What it sells for: used ones averaged $190 on BrickLink in the six months to October 2026. Sealed ones rarely come up: only one sold there in US dollars in that time, for $650.
Its Boba Fett is on my list of every LEGO Boba Fett minifigure.
Mini LEGO Jabba’s Sail Barges
LEGO has also made two small sail barge builds, both as days in a LEGO Star Wars advent calendar.
2015 Advent Calendar (75097), day 1
The 2015 calendar opens with a mini sail barge on day 1, followed by the Sarlacc pit on day 2.
2024 Advent Calendar (75395), day 8
The 2024 calendar has a mini sail barge behind door 8.
Everything else in both calendars is on my list of every LEGO Star Wars advent calendar.
Which LEGO Jabba’s Sail Barge is the biggest?
75397, by a long way. At 3,943 pieces and over 30.5 inches long, it’s more than four times the piece count of either earlier set, and both of them look small beside it.
Between the two older sets, the 2013 barge has more pieces (850 against 781) but is the smaller model. The 2006 set also puts some of its pieces into the skiff and the Sarlacc pit.
The set that goes with it: 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit
The UCS barge doesn’t come with a skiff. LEGO made one separately in 2024 as a companion set: the skiff and the Sarlacc pit, with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett and a 25th anniversary Nien Nunb.
- Pieces: 558 · Minifigures: 6 · US price: $79.99 · Status: Brickset lists it as retired at the end of 2025
What it sells for: new ones averaged $103 on BrickLink in the six months to October 2026.
Jabba’s Sail Barge for figure collectors
If you collect the figures rather than the bricks, Hasbro made a sail barge too: the Vintage Collection Khetanna, the first ever HasLab crowdfunded project, built for 3.75-inch figures. It’s in my Vintage Collection vehicles guide.
